Aren’t kids the best?!

I love kids’ carefree attitude, the way they live in the moment so wholeheartedly. The way they see the world with endless wonder and excitement over the smallest or seemingly insignificant things. I adore kids’ pure hearts and souls, that are born to only love, their endless little kisses and bear hugs that make any hard day melt away.

They’re simply the best.

My aim of shooting is capture families in whatever stage they’re in authentically, connecting with people from any and every background, culture and age in a constant honest light.

You’ll be sharing so much of your family with me during your shoot, it’s only fair I do the same..

I’ve been working in photography for around 15 years, mostly in the realms of advertising and food photography, I loved developing the creative direction right through to the photoshoots and bringing these concepts to life both in studio and on location - I’d love for you to check out my commercial and personal work here to see the other side of me.

We moved down to Nelson from Auckland on a whim and 8 years later we’re still here, (I still feel like an Aucklander at heart) but you really can’t beat the lifestyle here.
I’ve got two wee boys (2 and 4 years) who keep me way too busy - I love them more than anything! Our days are filled with arts and crafts, bike rides, cooking and playing toys.

I’m a captive nomad, currently living in one place, but always dreaming of living life again out of a backpack, travelling where the wind takes me as I did for years in a previous chapter of life; any chance for an adventure and I’m there!
